Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
 

Beginner Level: maturity to sustain attention on observational drawing for two hours; listen, comprehend, and attempt to implement instruction; maintain cordial and polite relations with classmates. 

 

Intermediate Level: a grounding in basic technical skills (to be expanded upon) and some imaginative ideas for subject matter and style; an enthusiasm for art and creativity.

 

Advanced Level: good drawings skills; understanding of value range & experience achieving it with smooth shading and hatching; understanding of form & symmetry; ability to try new things; innovate; experiment; a passion for art and the pursuit of excellence in expression.
